Gionee A1 Lite review: Large screen powerful battery and nice camera

After the success of A1 Plus (price Rs 26999) mobile company Gionee India has launched A1 Lite in the market.

The company has high expectations from the A1 Lite with 20 megapixel selfie camera and 4000 mAh battery.

With 6 per cent share in the domestic smartphone market Gionee introduces this mobile in the mid-range range where Motorola’s Moto G5 Plus and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 already have a strong presence.

Will Gionee A1 Lite be able to outlast the market leaders?

let’s watch.

The Gionee A1 Lite is available in two colors – Gold (Gold) and Black (Black).

To protect the phone’s 5.3 inch HD display 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection has been given.

It sports a metallic look due to the black color which gives a great look to its slim body design.

Gionee A1 Lite Octa Core 64 bit processor with 4G VoLTE feature runs on it.

The internal memory of this phone with 3 GB RAM is 32 GB which can be expanded up to 256 GB.

Tested by opening some games and multiple apps at once but did not find any problem.

The 20MP selfie camera of the A1 Lite has been equipped with four-cell technology.

For this reason better selfies can be taken from this mobile than its previous model.

When it comes to image quality its 13MP camera cannot be said to be better than its rival.

In terms of software the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Amigo OS 4.0 skin on top which makes it work fast.

As far as the battery is concerned the 4000 mAh battery will keep you connected throughout the day.

Despite the use of social media and surfing the Internet as well as playing games and using a lot this phone gives 23 hours of running time.

Drawbacks of Gionee A1 Lite:

The quality of photos taken in low light with this phone is not good.

The device has a problem of overheating which needs improvement.

The company claims that the Gionee A1 Lite gets unlocked in just 0.3 seconds with the fingerprint sensor located near the rear camera.

Whatever it is it’s a bit long.

conclusion:
In this price segment it will be difficult for Gionee to lead the race against rivals like Xiaomi and Motorola (now Coolpad also joins this scenario with 6GB Cool Play6).

If you want a phone with great selfies as well as long battery life then you can bet on the Gionee A1 Lite.
